An efficient peanut oil production line involves multiple stages to ensure high-quality oil output and resource utilization. Here is a detailed breakdown:

1. Peanut Pretreatment

➤ Cleaning
Before any mechanical processing begins, peanuts are passed through a vibrating screen to remove impurities such as stones, dust, and metal fragments. Impurity levels are reduced to below 0.5% to ensure equipment safety and oil quality.

➤ Destoning
A destoner separates heavy debris such as stones using air separation techniques. This step prevents damage to subsequent shelling and pressing machines.

➤ Shelling & Kernel Separation
Peanuts are fed into the shelling machine, where the shells are broken through repeated impact and friction. The shells are then blown away through screens of different diameters and an airflow system, leaving clean groundnut kernels.

2.Crushing, Softening, Flaking & Cooking

➤ Crushing
The kernels are mechanically crushed to increase surface area, enhancing heat and moisture transfer efficiency during softening and flaking.

➤ Flaking
Peanut particles are pressed into thin flakes using rollers. This structural change is critical for efficient oil release during pressing.

➤ Cooking
Depending on the selected pressing method, the flakes are cooked to optimize oil recovery. In hot pressing, cooking temperatures can reach 120–130°C, with moisture content controlled at 1–2%. This step denatures proteins, aiding oil separation but reducing nutrient content.

3. Groundnut Oil Pressing

We provide both hot pressing and cold pressing technologies:

• Hot Pressing: Preferred for high yield and fast output. However, it results in higher nutrient loss due to heat.
• Cold pressing: Suitable for the premium oil market. Nutrients such as vitamin E and phytochemicals are better preserved, but oil yield is lower.

Our screw-type peanut oil press ensures stable performance with minimal maintenance. The remaining oil cake can be directly used as feed or transferred to a solvent extraction unit for residual oil recovery.

4. Solvent Extraction (Optional)

For large-scale facilities aiming for maximum oil recovery, we offer a solvent extraction system to recover residual oil from the pressed cake. This method uses food-grade solvents, significantly increasing total oil yield.

5. Peanut Oil Refining

Crude oil undergoes the following refining stages for purification:

• Degumming: Removes phospholipids and gums.
• Neutralization (Deacidification): Eliminates free fatty acids.
• Decolorization: Uses activated clay to remove pigments.
• Deodorization: Strips off volatile odors for better taste.

Refined peanut oil is cooled and sent to the filling and packaging unit, where it is bottled under hygienic conditions for commercial distribution.
